GreenApple Policies & FAQs for Virtual Programming
GreenApple uses Zoom as its video platform. There is no cost to join a Zoom meeting or class. You do not need a Zoom license. Zoom works with most devices and operating systems. If you are not sure about your devices refer to Zoom technical requirements. You will be prompted to download Zoom the first time you join a GreenApple class. After the download, your learner will only need to click the link provided before each virtual class start.
Communication requesting a transfer or refund within GreenApple policy must be submitted by email to email@example.com
Most GreenApple Virtual Programs are live online classes. Attendance will be taken. We ask learners to check in with the instructor and enable the audio and video throughout the class.
We do not authorize recording of GreenApple Virtual Programs.
You will need a technology device with a microphone and webcam. Most newer devices have these built in. If you enroll multiple learners in one class, each should have their own device. If there is a specific device requirement for a class, it will be posted in the class description.
We screen, interview and do background checks on all GreenApple staff. In addition GreenApple staff are trained on our process and learning tools.
1:1 Private Sessions / Tutoring
Parents can request 1:1 private sessions / tutoring. Scheduling is based on availability. GreenApple requires a 24 hour notice to reschedule Private Sessions. If your learners have not joined the Private Session 10 minutes after the start time, the meeting may be cancelled, at GreenApple discretion. This is considered a missed meeting and you are not entitled to a refund.
Small Groups, Learning Pods
Families and schools can request customized sessions for small groups and pods. Scheduling is based on availability.
You can cancel and receive a full refund within 24 hours of your purchase.
If a class is cancelled in advance, you will receive a full refund.
If we cancel a class in process, you will receive a prorated refund.
If you miss a class, you are not entitled to a refund.
If your learners have not joined the class meeting 10 minutes after the start time, the meeting may be cancelled, at GreenApple discretion. This is considered a missed meeting and you are not entitled to a refund.
You can request a transfer to a similar virtual class, up to 1 week in advance of the virtual class start time. Transfer is dependent on availability in virtual class.
GreenApple will provide a full refund for a cancellation request submitted by a parent by email within 24 hours of purchase.
