Let’s learn to code! It’s part of a movement to expose kids to computer science and the power to build games, apps, and learn new coding tools to craft their vision. Our goal: to help kids learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively, essential skills for life in the 21st century. 

MinecraftEdu
This updated Education Edition uses the power of Minecraft to promote problem solving and collaboration in an immersive environment.  We integrate systems design, coding, computer science, STEM topics and modding concepts. MinecraftEdu is a collaboration of educators and programmers.

MinecraftTech 
We use the power of Minecraft world building and games based education to engage and educate.  We integrate website design, coding, computer science, STEM topics and modding concepts. The Tech component adds the fundamentals of technology in a game-based learning environment. Kids will not only take away knowledge of tech tops in the world of Minecraft but also in the real world around them.

Minecraft Mods
Kids learn JAVA programming as they design and code modifications (mods) to Minecraft® — including swords, tools, blocks, foods, biomes, achievements, mobs and more that can be played and shared with friends. Kids completing this program will take away: tools to set up the Mod development environment at home, Java project files, instructions to build, package, and share their Mod.

Game/App Design with Swift Playgrounds New
Swift Playgrounds is a revolutionary new app for iPad that makes learning Swift interactive and fun. We will solve puzzles to master the basics using Swift — a powerful programming language created by Apple and used by the pros to build many of today’s most popular apps. After learning the basics of Swift, students will complete challenges and move up to more advanced topics such as loops, logical operators, and conditionals. The critical thinking, design skills, and Swift programming syntax learned will give kids a solid foundation to create their own apps and games.

Apps iPhone, iPad, web
Kids learn how to create an app that can play on the iPhone®, iPad® or web. We will learn coding mobile app design and app development techniques with Swift. At completion students have the skills to create their own app. Kids completing this program will take away: Swift Playground Files which contain reusable code snippets developed at their GAC program, an Xcode project that can be completed and enhanced at home, an app project that at completion will allow them to take next steps to package, build and submit to the App Store.
